Walter Watson, Ontario Land Surveyor, was the founding member of Watson Land Surveyors. He was commissioned in 1960 by the Association of Ontario Land Surveyors and purchased the notes and records of John T. Ransom, Ontario Land Surveyor, who surveyed the Quinte area since 1948. Walter worked on developing the east end of Belleville, surveyed portions of the 401, Quinte Mall, the Sears Warehouse, and finally saw subdivision development north of the 401 before his passing in 2008.
Keith Watson, Ontario Land Surveyor, became a partner of Watson Land Surveyors in 1996. Keith provides the same attention to detail and excellent service like his father before him, but with new state-of-the-art survey equipment. Keith has continued to see the growth in the Quinte area and has worked on projects such as Walmart, Home Depot, Stirling and Harmony School, and most recently, the new fire station.
